
If you do not have a Wolfram ID, click Create Account and follow the instructions on that page. Log in to the Activation Key Request Form with your Wolfram ID.Note: The URL can be found by clicking the Download Software link on the order confirmation page. If you need your online order confirmation notice, please see Look Up Your Software License Codes. Refer to your online order confirmation notice and go the URL for the Cornell University Activation Key Request Form on the Wolfram site. If you have not previously done so, you will need to register your email address to get this key. If you are unable to manually activate Mathematica, contact Wolfram Support with your activation key, MathID and the password generated in step 5.Activation of Mathematica 8 or higher requires you to get an individual Activation Key from Wolfram Research, the manufacturer of Mathematica.
Copy and paste the activation key you selected from the User Portal and the password from the password generator into the corresponding fields of the Product Activation dialog. Click the Generate Password button to generate your password. To generate the password, go to the password generator form in the User Portal and enter your activation key and your MathID into the password generator form. Copy and paste this activation key into the Product Activation dialog. Select the My Products and Services tab, then click the name of the product you want to activate. You can find your activation key and generate your password in your Wolfram User Portal account. This dialog asks for the activation key and password. Select the Manual Activation option.Ě dialog appears showing the MathID of the machine onto which you are installing Mathematica. Select the “Other ways to activate” button in the Wolfram Product Activation dialog. If you do not have an internet connection, or automatic activation does not work for any reason, you can activate the Wolfram System manually.
